Masami Adachi is a professional photographer based in New York City.  With a diverse portfolio that spans across genres, she is best known for her use of light, keen observation and composition expressed in portraiture and still life photography.  Her work has been published in editorials, including TV and Satellite (UK),  Jazz Japan and NewYou, in addition to collaborating with a broad range of commercial beauty and fashion clients, including Soap and Glory, Davines, and Calvin Klein.

Born in Japan and coming of age in London, Masami is a global citizen whose passion for visual storytelling has been inspired by the countless connections and photographs exchanged during her extensive travels. Her nuanced appreciation for the lighting in these distinct moments in time serves as the grounding inspiration for her images, intimately connecting the viewer and her subjects.

Masami resides in Manhattan with her partner Kent.  She loves cycling, swimming, and spends her days off daydreaming about the next inspirational adventure.
